Dr. Alexander Bellas holds a B.A. in Humanities and an M.A. in Classics from Florida State University. He was awarded the Doctorate (Ed.D.) in Instructional Leadership and Reading Education from Nova Southeastern University in 2014.  
Dr. Bellas previously taught at Hunter College in New York City, was the director of Ancient Drama at St. Johns College in Santa Fe, New Mexico, and the Dushanbe International School in Dushanbe, Tajikistan. He also teaches at Palm Beach State College in the evenings. 
Dr. Bellas has travelled extensively to some fascinating places including most of Europe, Turkey, Israel, Morocco, Peru, Bolivia; and  for almost two years lived in the Republic of Tajikistan where he met his wonderful wife, Rano. They have been married since 2001 and have two fantastic children ages 11 and 13.
